*Rich dark chocolate

Hello chocolate lovers! I am a hard core chocoholic. Anyhow, I came up with this very satisfying alternative for those of you that can sneak in the cocoa powder thing.

Rich Dark ChocolateRich Dark Chocolate

3-4 tbsp. extra-virgin organic coconut oil
3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder (raw and organic)

Melt the above in a pan, just till nice and warm and well-stirred. Don't make it really hot, or bring to a boil. Pour mixture into a sturdy tupperware container and freeze. Chocolate breaks off for snacking. Keep frozen.

I'll second that! Chocolate helps me survive this diet! Big Grin

I make this all the time too & I just love it. I keep a container of this in the freezer, so it's ready to snack on whenever I need a sweet...Mmm.

Vegetable glycerine & stevia can be added to sweeten it up. If you want to bulk it up to make more, adding in a nut butter works well (the "milk" chocolate recipe has the ratio). And if you want to avoid the caffeine of the cocoa, get the brand Wondercocoa, which is something like 99.7% caffeine-free - then you have an Ok list snack.

Tia, a fellow chocolate friend!! I will try it with the nut butter. It sounds yummy. Stevia gives me headaches, but vegetable glycerine sounds like a good idea. I love bitter dark chocolate, so sweetening it isn't much of a big deal. I'm so happy that we can have this, it makes life TONS jollier!!!!! elephant
