I undertand that oregano oil in the gel caps will destroy friendly bacteria after maybe 2 weeks or so? So, is there any problem with using the oregano leaves that are ground up as a spice to put on salad, vegetables etc.? What is starchy squash on the limit food list? Can I eat too many raw onions or what is the daily serving size? I like them on salad. Thanks for your help. Hal
Oregano spice is fine. Starchy squashes will be different in different regions. The more dense and sweet and starchy it is, the higher carb it is likely to be. Spagetti, and acorn squash are most likely to be the lower starch type but there may be others in your area.
Raw onions are fine as long as you feel well when you eat them.
