Fenugreek for period pains

I get bad period pains, and Ive found that fenugreek tea really helps. It tastes gross, but one cup of tea will soothe away serious pain for a good few hours. I take asprin too, which might help in conjunction, but asprin alone does not help.
Add 2 heaped tsp of fenugreek seeds to a big mug of boiling water, and leave to infuse with a saucer on top to keep the essential oils in. After 15-20 mins it will be ready, and should be cool enough drink it down - eat something tasty afterwards! If you find the taste really gross try not to breathe through your nose.
You can also experiment with the amount of seeds you use - so the tea is strong enough to have an effect, but not so strong it's inedible. Also perhaps it could be diluted.
Hope this helps someone. Smile
