Co-reacting when gluten sensitive

Dr Perlmutter, a doctor who supports the low carbohydrate (and high healthy fat and fiber) diet, says that about 50 percent of those who are gluten-intolerant are also sensitive to dairy.

He references research that shows those who are sensitive to gluten may also be sensitive to coffee. He said it is possible for some people to be sensitive to gluten AND some of the following. I don't include this list to wreak more havoc with your lifestyle and diet changes, just to help you along as you try to interpret your lifestyle and diet diary.

After the first few weeks (if not before), of adjusting to the lower carb candida diet (sometimes triggering 'keto flu') and after starting anti-fungal products which can trigger die off reactions, you should start to feel improvement.

If you are not feeling better, one thing to examine is whether you have been, or have just begin eating a food/foods that you are reactive to.
