Bentonite and its importance in your candida program

Bentonite Liquid

Bentonite is a liquid made from the hydrolization of fine clay powder. It contains simply a naturally occurring clay and water. Liquid Bentonite is included with psyllium in every phase of the Whole Approach program as an integral part of the “purge drink. It is known for its detoxifying and alkalizing properties and is an excellent vehicle for removing various intestinal poisons and toxins generated by Candida albicans and other pathogens. It is also used for cleansing the colon after an episode of intestinal discomfort or as an adjunct to a comprehensive heavy metal cleanse. Some people even use it to quell overly acidic stomachs.

When processed into a very fine powder and suspended in distilled water, bentonite adsorbs (acts like a magnet pulling toxins to it). According to the Canadian Journal of Microbiology (31 [1985], 50-53), Bentonite can also adsorb yeasts, bacteria, metals, pathogenic viruses, aflatoxins, and pesticides and herbicides including Paraquat and Roundup.

Bentonite, a volcanic ash found in the Black Hills of South Dakota, is an inert mineral silicate. Inert substances are able to pass through the body undigested. In therapeutic use, it is one of the most effective natural intestinal detoxifying agents available and has been recognized as such for centuries by native peoples around the world.

The name Bentonite is a commercial name for montmorillonite, the active mineral in many medicinal clays and which comes from weathered volcanic ash. This name derives from Montmorillon, France, where the medicinal mineral was first identified. Sometimes mineralogists use the term smectite instead to describe the same substance. Bentonite is not a new product, it has been safely used in internal human health since 1946.

I personally use it a few times a week. I am not on a candida program and I drink bullet proof coffee drink almost every morning. Sometimes I add some bentonite in order to alkalize it. I personally cannot use very much of it as for me, it can slow down elimination but I love how it feels with just about a teaspoon of it. I also love how it feels with the fabulously pure and perfectly textured, Attogram psyllium powder, mixed with or without Caproyl. I've often compared it to feeling like a gentle scrub from the inside out
