*Yummy oat crunchies

they taste quite a bit like sortbread although are a little crumbly.

1/2 cup oats* (or oatbran)
1/2 cup mixed rice flour (1/2 brown rice, 1/2 sweet rice)
110g butter* (ghee is ok)
stevia to taste
1 tsp guar gum
25g chopped 8nuts
a sprinkle of cinnamon

mix dry ingredients, melt butter, combine
make into biscuit balls and bake for 15 minutes at 180 celsius. any improvements welcome!

These sound really good Zalaika! If you want to avoid gluten (which is on the Avoid list), you might want to subsitute something in place of oats, which contain gluten. Oat bran has a miniscule amount of gluten in it, and Tarilee has said it is acceptable on this diet, as long as you don't eat it daily, and you don't have a reaction to it. And it makes a great substitute for regular oats - it keeps baked treats really moist and flavorful.
