Hi there,

Welcome to Whole Approach. Intestinal yeast overgrowth can sometimes co-present with vaginal yeast. You'll see in the FAQ's for this section there are several wonderful products for intimate skin care. These may support you in some ways. However, what you're describing sounds as if it is something in addition to or other than yeast and I would advise you talking to your doctor about it, ideally, to a gynecologist.

I would recommend you have a look at posts by our previous member SamplerSharon (can pull her posts up with an advanced). Here is one of her threads about vaginosis. I do not know if this condition might have something to do with your symptoms or not but it may be worth learning about.

Please let me know if you would like assistance learning about the program we offer here to reduce whole body yeast in a comprehensive diet, product and lifestyle protocol. Here's a link to our welcome page to learn about all we have to offer here. And I come on the forum Monday's and Thursdays to answer questions about anything you read here.

All the best to you as you continue to learn about the path that will help you restore your health.

Yes consulting a gynecologist would be really helpful. Even I was facing this problem of vagina by the use of sanitary pads and tampons, initially I didn't took it seriously but then the itching and pain started increasing and last option which I had is took help of doctor. She said due to use of sanitary pads I had the yeast infection , for this she said me to make use of coupe menstruelle (menstrual cup) and provided some pain killer for the pain.So I would suggest you to take help of Gynec so that you would know the exact cause of your problem.

I'm so feeling you this is what bought me to this site. my vagina hurts and more after a bowel movement .  I also have severe constipation issues, and a lot of times it feels like a load of poop is sitting on my left ovary or something . it also hurt terribly on this side during my menstrual . having a ultrasound  that ovary is always hard to see and appears to have gas appearances . I have started using a organic shower gel, but also when I have intercoarse and have to have a orgasm, I'm gassy,,,lol, yes embarrassing !  strangely when I do have cum, I'm able to have a bowel movement ! !   I do have hemorrhoids so I'm wondering if it's cause of pressure. I  don't know, I just know this current sudden pain hurts!!!!!! I thought my boyfriend gave me an std!   I will suggest to all that is experiencing this to also be checked for this UTI    called  ureaplasma/ microplasma.I've had that diagnosis and my urologist said it is an std , , all this could be as an untreated effect. I've had meds, but I've read someone had to take 3 rounds of it, because this infection could be in your body 2years without knowing!!!!!! I pray everyone find our cure and relief.
