sharing my detox story

Well, I had been doing my own thing with my dr, candida seemed to be under control and did 4 rounds of DMPS (IV) chelation. The first 2 were a breeze. The 2nd too felt like I had a stomach bug that night, a lot of cramping and chills, but better the next day. Well, the person who put me on the program failed to ask if I had amalgam fillings (yes about 8 of them). You are not suppose to do that with the fillings. I stopped. That was 1-2 yrs ago. Since then I've had all the fillings replaced by a holistic dentist, and this means a strict protocol has to be in place, air being suck out of the room and replaced, oxygen in my nose, cooling down the amalgam as it's removed (a bit of drowning at this time if not suctioned carefully lol.) Plus other things. Recently I had been feeling really bad, so decided to do another round of DMPS since I've had them removed. I haven't been doing any candida protocol in a while, in fact pretty addicted to sugar. So I did it, and had Horrible side effects! This time I didnt just have the fever and stomach upset, but my throat and lips swelled up. I took benedryl for that and was ok a couple of days later - and at that time, had about 100 canker sores on the underside of my tongue, and the underside of my lips. Along with this I found out I had thrush! So right now, I'm back on here, trying to get my head around the candida diet/program again. I was in agony for 4 days with the mouth sores, until yesterday when I discovered a miracle for them - licorice root/dgl. I couldn't talk, barely eat even liquid food and sleep for the pain was so great but thank the Lord for licorice root I'm almost healed. I'm sharing this for anyone thinking of getting DMPS. I should have learned, one bad reaction was enough, but I thought it was the amalgams making it worse so wanted to try again.
