Protein Shake

I love having shakes for breakfast, but the one I was using has a little sugar in it. So I came up with this one for the beginning stages of my detox. I add cocoa powder later in my detox, after a month or two. I can handle nuts just fine, but if you can't, this probably isn't for you. Hope you enjoy! 

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/3 cup almond butter

3 tbsp hemp protein powder

1 tsp ground cinnamon 

1 tsp yacon syrup

handful of fresh kale

about 5-6 large ice cubes

Mix all ingredients together in a blender (I have a Vitamix!) until consistency you like! Very satisfying!
