mineral supplements

As you suggested, I'm now taking AOR Magnesium Complex. What do you suggest for other minerals? In the past I've taken Chlorella, Trace Minerals Research concentrace, clay, kelp (ascophyllum nodosum, L-digitata).

Hi there,

I think that's an excellent product if you need magnesium.

Docs Best brand multi-vitamin mineral is the best of it's kind and it has a full spectrum of minerals though not the complete array of trace minerals. This company's products are very high quality, of verified potency, non GMO, and additive free. This multi has more minerals in it than most. It's possible to take trace mineral drops with your purified water (see "Trace Minerals Research") Occasionally these drops have too much magnesium. I've not tried their drops in years now but I don't recall that being an issue. If you get too much magnesium, loose stools are a possibility. Other steps you can take are to eat sea vegetables (e.g. dulse or nori )  and you can for health reasons and mineral intake, switch to unrefined full mineral sea salt like the mined Himilayan salt or unrefined sea salt. Another great source is pasture raised meat bone broth (simmered 24 hours after roasting the bones for flavour.)

Hope this helps!

All the best,

Tarilee
