I'm currently pregnant (2nd trimester) and therefore a little cautious of using the phase I products... however, my husband will be starting them soon, and I wanted to participate in the purge drink in solidarity! And although I don't have any major yeast overgrowth symptoms, I have had problems in the past (including nipple thrush with breastfeeding my firstborn).
So, I wouldn't mind a little yeast-killing action, but I want to be careful not to overdo it so as not to potentially overload my body with toxins from any die-off. My question is, would adding crushed garlic to the purge (minus the Capryl) have a more mild, but still positive, effect? Alternatively, would doing just a half-dose of the Capryl for 1-2 months be gentle enough, yet still be effective?
