1/3 cup of flaked barley
1 chopped Granny Smith apple
2T flax seeds
sprinkle of cinnamon and/or nutmeg
2 T chopped soaked nuts
stevia to taste
Cook in a small amount of water just until apple is soft. Then stir in 2 T of hemp seed hearts and 2 T of ground flaxseeds.
Top with some almond or rice milk if desired or just add more water good either way....and good for regularity too.
I know this cereal is a bit glutinous, but doesn't seem to bother me like oats does.
