I created these to fulfill my craving for 'beans on toast' (rye toast!) but they would also be good as part of a cooked breakfast, or beans and rice... however you used to eat baked beans!
*1 tin of beans, rinsed ( I used chickpeas but you could use any white bean) with
*three tablespoons tomato paste (approx, adjust to taste)
*three tablespoons yacon syrup (approx, adjust to taste)
*braggs to taste (or salt if you prefer)
*a teaspoon of mustard powder.
I then heated this lightly in a pan. I didn't want to heat it too much because the yacon can loose some of its sweetness when its cooked. Enjoy!
