Re: Vaginal issues, swabs came back negative.. please help!

Hi Louise, Well, it's been years since I had those issues but I'll chime in a bit anyway. I feel for you - I remember the itching and discomfort only too well. Someone like Tarilee who has way more knowledge on the subject will probably chime in next week, but I'll let you know my story. I've had candida for many, many years however didn't know that's what it was. Several years ago I followed the protocol here and my symptoms pretty much went away. The problem with candida is you can use...

Hi Louise, I'm not actually an expert on women's health. If the MD was not able to diagnose a bacterial, viral or yeast issue, then perhaps it could be a slight pH issue? Is it worse at certain times of month? If you were too alkaline, contact with semen would make it worse. If you use any kind of soap that is not the same pH as your fluids, it could also be irritating. Certain laundry products (detergent/soap or dryer products) can also irritate. Rinsing with a small amount of organic cider...

Thankyou so much for commenting, I really appreciate it! I'm planning on going to the doctors next week just to determine its not anything else, but if that fails I think I'll have to try the candida diet and do probiotics etc as you suggested, and see if that improves things after a while. I also came off the contraceptive pill a few weeks ago, as I heard that could've been making things worse, no improvement so far but I'll just have to wait and see what happens. I have read up on candida...

Hi Louise, Maintaining Weight The food therapy protocol will suit a majority of people but some people may experience weight loss, which may not always be desired. This food therapy program is free of the refined carbohydrates and high glycemic foods, which feed fungus and yeast and limit immune function. Recent science is also showing us that sugars and starches have an inflammatory impact in general.. Some people may require more starch than others to maintain their ideal weight,...

Hi again, While you're finding your way around, I thought I'd post a few links to some information and some of the soothing products sold in the online store. I try to include live links when time allows to save people from having to go looking, especially for those who are new to the forum. Many women find the following products to be of help individually or in combination. Some products should not be combined with others as they can burn sensitive tissue. The following products should only...

Cathy- No I havent, but i definitely will, thank you. Currently waiting for my results for BV, thrush (again), and trich and hoping that will shed some light on the situation! Tarilee- I haven't had sex during this bout of it, and lately I've been so terrified of irritating it in any way so i haven't been using soap, but I'm definitely considering some of those products you've suggested again thank you for your tips!

Though if my results come back negative again I must admit I'm a bit concerned about going on the candida diet. I'm very skinny, for some reason I've never been able to put on weight and I just think if I went to only eating veg and meat that I'd loose even more.. an idea which upsets me a bit because I'm too skinny already. - Very insecure about it. also I have a busy life and I'm always out and about so eating would become a major problem, because walking in to costa or telcos I realise i...

Re: Where am I in the detox process ?

Tarilee ·
Hi Howard, Welcome to the Whole Approach forum. You've had a most difficult series of health challenges. I'm so sorry to hear of all you've been going through. I certainly can't say one way or the other if candida overgrowth could be a causative factor in your issues. However many people with chronic health problems also do have issues with yeast or fungus. I have no way of knowing, as you say, what 'stage of detox' you are at. Do you have a holistic MD or a naturopathic physician who helps...

Where am I in the detox process ?

I have been intermittently ill for 58 years My best years were when I was being properly nourished by my wife. I have suffered from the symptoms of Asthma.    multiple triggers,  mould, petro chemical fumes, cold air, dog and cat dander, dust and  dust mites and what I didn't know food intolerances. as a child I was sat in front of an open coal fire and placed out on a cold street In a very busy leaded petrol environment. Attention deficit...
