The Inspriational Thread

I pulled all of the inspirational quotes that I’ve posted so far, together. Starting the list off is the few new ones that I found over the weekend and promised to share with you.

Joe Joe, would you be willing to copy your lovely post from this weekend (about the journey and the valley) and post it on this thread as well? And of course, the purpose of opening this thread up here is to encourage contributions from all of you either in the form of favourite quotes or you own personal inspirational sharing.

I picked up these two quotes from a humour website called Bromely Health Management. Enjoy!

"A specially formulated diet designed to help you cope with the stress that builds up during the day!

BREAKFAST
1 x grapefruit
1 x wholemeal toast
1 x cup skimmed milk
LUNCH
small portion lean, steamed chicken with a cup of spinach
1 x cup herbal tea
1 x chocolate hobnob
AFTERNOON TEA
the rest of the biscuits in the packet
1 x Hagen Daas Ice Cream with choc-chip topping
1 x family pack Jaffa cakes
DINNER
4 x bottles wine (red or white)
2 x loaves garlic bread
1 x large Supreme Pizza
3 x Snickers bars. (subs***utions may be made e.g. Mars, Kit Kat - but it must be 3 bars, no more, no less as the balance of the diet may be affected).
LATE NIGHT SNACK
whole frozen Sarah Lee cheesecake (eaten directly from freezer".

[This is by no means meant to offend anyone with an eating disorder. Rather, to humorously point out, how many people use food to soothe stress. Isn't it the truth!]

”SUCCESS:

At age 12 success is ... having friends.

At age 50 success is ... having money.
At age 60 success is ... having sex.
At age 70 success is ... having a driver's license.
At age 75 success is .... having friends.
At age 80 success is ... not peeing in your pants”
