I'm having one of my days where I feel tired of the fight. I have been battling regaining my health for over a year now. Its just one of those many days where the thought is, is this die off or is the yeast winning. Its always so confusing. Every new supplement I take its so hard to know if its helping or hurting. I just guess I need to know I'm not alone in this struggle to regain my health Thanks for letting me vent.Smile

Hi Krissi,
You are totally not alone.
I am totally not in a place right now to say very much, I am having a very rough day physically and emotionally. The toughest day in several months.
I breathe in, breathe out and trust in this universe. There is perfection in everything.
(Yes, I'm trying to convince myself of that, it's not always the easiest belief to buy in to Wink)
*Sigh*
You are not alone.
Blessings,
Louise

Thanks Louise, it just nice to know others can relate. Smile Sorry to hear your day has been rough. Hopefully you can get a good nights rest and start renewed tomorrow. I think tonight's a good night for a legal treat Smile

You are definately not alone. Thank goodness we can come here for some support to know that. I'm sure it would be much harder without this forum.

I understand about it being confusing. I just posted about the purge drink causing some detox symptoms for me. Before I figured that out, I thought it might be the garlic in Annie's Green Garlic dressing, but it wasn't. I stayed away from that for a few days and was still not feeling well. So I backed off of the purge drink for 2 days now and I feel much better.

Hopefully you can look back at your progress and see how far you've come and know that although it might be awhile before you are healed that it will be worth it.

Enjoy your treat tonight Smile

Thanks Michelle Smile You raise a good point about the detoxing. I get so impatient and want to get healed all at once. I backed off the detoxing supplements for a bit and it felt good to give my body a break. Then I went out and bought supplements for leaky gut, chlorophyll, magnesium, cut back my limits and started on progesterone cream again. I'm notorious for getting myself all psyched up to get healthy and overdoing it. I think I'm going to back off the detoxing for a few days and see if that helps. I hate it because I read about so many negative things about the progesterone but my doc is convinced I need it and I'm pretty confident that I do. Ugh, there are just so many rules. Anyways, I am so thankful for this site Big Grin

Hi Krissi,

There are two articles that I recommend you read if you have not already. One is on die off and one is about healing crises.

I'll put the links in here for you.

Healing Crisis Article:
http://www.wholeapproach.com/n...002/11_November.html

Die Off Article:
http://www.wholeapproach.com/n...es/2003/06_June.html

Take good care and above all, cultivate patience with your body as you develop a trusting relationship with your needs. Your health will level out and you won't always be so reactive.

Thanks Tarillee. I'm trying not to question everything and not overdo the cleansing. Hopefully I'll turn a corner soon Smile

Hi Krissi,

I know exactly what you mean. I need progesterone also. I am getting severe headaches due to the hormone imbalance. I ordered some of that wild yam cream on this website and I plan to try that to see if it will balance my hormones naturally so I don't have to take progesterone. Each time I try to take progesterone my candida starts flaring up, I lose foods and I wind up losing more weight.

The need for hormones complicates this a lot.

Hi there,

I have been recently diagnosed with Candida, after years of skin hives and antihistamines and steroid cream. I had an allergy test and a live blood cell test which revealed sensitivities to dairy, wheat, caffeine and since diagnosis have change my diet completely. The first 5 day sor so I felt fantastic, like a fog of anxiety and relief lifted. My skin cleared slightly and I had great energy. Day 6 things changed and since then I'm feeling anxiety again - the fog is back - and my skin is worse than ever. Feeling very frustrated and really happy to have found this site. So nice to know I'm not alone.

Mary-

I'm hoping that the progesterone isn't causing the yeast to flair up. It's so hard to know if its helping or hurting. I have become more sensitive to food lately, but I'm also detoxing and that happens to me when I do. The weird thing is I'm having random pain in my intestines that I haven't felt since my old doc put me on nystatin. So I'm kind of leaning towards I'm killing it instead of feeding it. Who knows, I'm just trying to stay focused and not read into it. I'm only on 5 mg of progesterone so at least it's low dose.

Heidi-

You are definitely not alone as you can seeSmile It will get better. I have always had more bad days than good days when I'm detoxing. It's worth it, there are just a lot of bumps in the roadSmile

Hi Krissi,

Even the bio-identical hormones can sometimes cause digestive upset. I hope this is temporary, especially if the hormones are something you need. Keep in mind that a well trained ND or herbalist might be able to provide you with herbal support rather than hormonal.

Hi Heidi,

Welcome!

Here's a link to our Welcome page so you can find your way around our site:

http://forum.wholeapproach.com...6011311/m/2076060553

If you head to the newsletter section (see link above) you can scroll way down to an article about Die Off -Friend or Foe. This might be helpful for you to read though I doubt that your changes in diet alone have caused this. Also check out the one called What is a Healing Crisis.

Congratulations on all your changes and progress so far! It sounds like you're doing some great things that are sure to pay off!

Take good care,

Tarilee
